Senior Software Engineer
We're looking for a senior engineer to join Launchpad Studio and work directly with clients on high-impact technical projects.
At Launchpad Studio, engineers work across the full stack: from architecture decisions to shipping production code. You'll collaborate closely with clients, helping them move fast without accumulating technical debt.
This is not a support role. You'll own meaningful slices of product: leading technical conversations, making judgment calls, and being the person the client relies on to get things right.
We work async-first, with a small team of senior people. No sprawling meetings, no hand-holding. Just focused work on problems that matter.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language: TypeScript, Go, Rust, Python, or similar. We care about depth, not which language.
- Comfortable with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience building and shipping full-stack or backend systems that real users depend on
- Comfortable working directly with clients on technical decisions
- A genuine curiosity and willingness to pick up new tools, languages, and domains quickly. A fixed mindset is the only real dealbreaker.
